Seminar with Thodoris Oikonomou on April 14th and 15th

We are extremely excited about this year’s seminars. One of these seminars is with the renowned composer Thodoris Oikonomou, who will honor us with his presence on April 14th and 15th from 17:00 – 21:00, conducting a seminar on song interpretation through acting, as well as the reading of choral sections from ancient drama. Thodoris Oikonomou is a professor of music and song interpretation at the Higher Drama School of Art Theatre – Karolos Koun.
Thodoris Oikonomou has composed music for over 200 theater productions, including works for the National Theater, the Thessaloniki State Theater, Piccolo Teatro, the Greek National Opera, the Municipal Theater of Piraeus, the Greek National Opera, the Cyprus Theatre Organization, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and others. He collaborates with leading theater and film directors both in Greece and abroad.
He is also a member of the audition committee for drama schools in Greece, which makes him particularly significant in the field. He has worked with symphonic orchestras, and his work has been presented at international festivals in cities such as London, Chicago, New York, Edinburgh, Japan, China, and others.
Thodoris Oikonomou is the most important Greek composer of theater and film music, a distinguished professional with an impressive resume, who is coming exclusively from Athens to conduct this theater song seminar in his unique style. This will be an exceptional experience for our students and we encourage them to attend.
