Twelve years ago, a team from YIALLOURIDES & PARTNERS LTD, driven by social responsibility and the desire to give back, undertook the organization of a charity evening. However, this event needed to be different—beyond the usual. It had to involve the company’s staff and management, giving them the opportunity to experience the process, dedicate time and effort, and contribute in their own way.

To ensure the best possible outcome, professionals were brought in to voluntarily support participants throughout the preparation. The success of the first event, along with the immense joy of giving, led us to repeat it the following year—always with the same principles, while ensuring each event had a unique theme.

Over the past ten years, we have joined forces with partner companies such as PATRIKIOS PAVLOU & ASSOCIATES LLC, VISTRA (CYPRUS) LIMITED, and AMICORP (CYPRUS) LIMITED, as well as professionals including Niovi Spyridaki from Character Acting Studio, Eva Messi from the Maria Messi Dance School, and Leoni Demetriou. All contributed selflessly, with love and personal time. The evenings have included Viennese Christmas operettas, karaoke, Greek-themed nights with live performances, musical fashion shows, music video clips, original musicals written exclusively for the event, and even our own version of Eurovision. In the most recent edition, Wish for the Stars – It’s Show Time, a net total of €115,000 was raised.

This year, the charity event will take place on November 22 at Monte Caputo for the 11th consecutive year, supporting the organization One Dream One Wish for children with cancer and related illnesses.

The co-organizers promise a magical journey with energy, dedication, and imagination in the presentation of Wish for the Stars – Bands Edition! Expanding the tradition, we are delighted that, alongside the organizers, for the third consecutive year the companies Pafilia and O Kipos tis Edem – Tsiakkarias Marketplace will participate, and for the second year Columbia Ship Management, Tototheo Global, and Loucaides – Theophanous LLC will join. Companies will perform songs from popular 90s & 2000s bands, with choreography by Eva Messi of the Maria Messi Dance School and Niovi Spyridaki of Character Acting Studio for the Limassol teams, Jake Athanasiades Danceroom for Paphos teams, and Panayiotis Chatzipanagi for the Nicosia team. The evening will be hosted by the remarkable Christiana Artemiou and will conclude with the amazing voice of Hovig accompanied by his orchestra.
